IRS Scam Checker

Answer three quick questions. We’ll compare your contact with the warning signs the IRS publishes and tell you how to check safely.

1. How were you contacted?
2. What are they asking you to do? (check all that apply)
3. Did you get an IRS letter about this first?

Never call a phone number, click a link or use a payment method given in the suspicious message. Look up official contact details yourself.
